Corporate Mission Statement

As the body of Christ, Barbican Baptist Church commits to spreading the gospel and serving the community in response to the divine call. We engage in faithful worship, sincere fellowship and exemplary Christ-centered witness, drawing on the power of the Holy Spirit, our gifts and the cooperation of other Christian organizations in the community.

Vision

To be a church led by the Holy Spirit offering rich meaningful worship, stable sustaining fellowship, empowering community involvement and prophetic Christian education.

Corporate Objectives

BBC embraces a holistic approach to ministry with the following objectives:

1. To preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in its fullness;
2. To encourage the daily reading and study of God’s word – faithful in worship, fellowship and discipleship;
3. To demonstrate concern and compassion for the sick and needy. Ministering to their needs through the relevant ministries of the Church;
4. To reach out to the wider community through evangelism, discipleship, stewardship and social outreach;
5. To encourage committed believers to a life of prayers and fasting;
6. To build a biblical community of believers whose membership reach out to the wider community through fellowship, evangelism, discipleship and social stewardship as we model Christ and follow His example.
